Dubbed ‘The Silver Thread’ we created an installation in Humanscale’s showroom for the Clerkenwell Design Week 2016, transforming and repurposing 150 of Humanscale’s discontinued range of lamps into a free-flowing form which sweeps through the showroom.
The Silver Thread, which represents the spine and heart of Humascale’s products, welcomes visitors from street level where the organic installation temps visitors in leading them on a journey of product exploration from the ground floor through to the showrooms basement area and the dedicated exhibition space for CDW2016. When viewed from a bird’s eye the structure also cleverly forms the Humanscale’s logo.
