The client for our architectural project; HG House (read more here) also commissioned us to design the interiors of their residence. The design concept evolved around bringing architecture in and adding few luxury touches. The main part of the interior is the living zone which is made up of the kitchen, dining area, a sunken lounge and reading space with double height ceiling. This entire zone is lined with sliding glass wall so that it can open up the outdoor deck. The kitchen island is an angular concrete structure giving the space an identity with nodes to the architecture. Made of concrete composite material featuring a self-formed sink, its designed so that when the residents are doing the kitchen work, they have view of the pool area and also the mountainous landscape in the background.
